Through the electronic screen of the Dispatching and Command Center of the Zhuneng Heidaigou Open-pit Coal Mine of the National Energy Group, we can see that the electric shovel is continuously loading raw coal for trucks and then transporting it to all parts of the country by train after washing and processing. During the Spring Festival alone, 641000 tons of commercial coal were produced here, exceeding the energy supply guarantee task during the Spring Festival.

2022年，内蒙古实现煤炭产量12.2亿吨，煤炭保供量9.45亿吨，有效保障了全国29个省、区、市的煤炭需求。今年，全区将加快国家批准的增产核煤矿手续，全面推进在建煤矿的竣工投产，激活煤矿闲置资源，稳定生产煤矿总产能在13亿吨以上，确保全国超过三分之二省份的煤炭需求。

内蒙古自治区能源局党组成员、副局长陈正表示，要切实肩负起保障国家能源安全的重大政治责任，继续巩固能源供应安全基础，全面推进在建煤矿的竣工和运营，加快自用及外送煤电输送项目建设，力争到2023年底实现煤炭产量12.5亿吨。
